Moving from Training Panel Attorney to CJA Panel Attorney:

 Requirements for elevation from the Training Panel to the CJA Panel:

  • Attendance at the Federal Defender Service's Orientation Seminar - Current Agenda
  • Second chairing a federal criminal case with a Federal Defender or an experienced CJA Panel member
  • Observing the federal criminal court proceedings listed on the appropriate checklist and returning the completed checklist.
