Transcript Rates (Effective October 1, 2024)
The Eastern District of Tennessee has adopted the maximum transcript rates approved by the Judicial Conference of the United States. The current maximum transcript rates are:

Definitions
Ordinary Transcript | A transcript to be delivered within thirty (30) calendar days after receipt of an order. |
14 Day Transcript | A transcript to be delivered within fourteen (14) calendar days after receipt of an order. |
Expedited Transcript | A transcript to be delivered within seven (7) calendar days after receipt of an order. |
3 Day Transcript | A transcript to be delivered within three (3) calendar days after receipt of an order. |
Daily Transcript | A transcript to be delivered following adjournment and prior to the normal opening hour of the court on the following morning whether or not it actually is a court day. |
Hourly Transcript | A transcript of proceedings to be delivered within two (2) hours from receipt of the order. |
Realtime Transcript | A draft unedited transcript produced by a certified realtime reporter as a byproduct of realtime to be delivered electronically during proceedings or immediately following receipt of the order. |
Invoices
Court Reporters will send a copy of the invoice form for transcript orders to the party making the request. If a request is from a CJA Panel attorney on an appointed case in this district or the Sixth Circuit, the payment will be processed by a CJA24 in the eVoucher system and then delete the marked off.
