Please note that the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Tennessee hosts regularly scheduled naturalization ceremonies in our district. The Clerk's Office may only answer general questions related to a specific ceremony date and time, and is unable to provide any information about the status of an application nor provide the names of applicants scheduled for a specific ceremony. 
 

The Eastern District of Tennessee hosts several naturalization ceremonies throughout the year. Naturalization is the process by which U.S. citizenship is conferred upon a foreign citizen or national after he or she fulfills the requirements established by Congress in the Immigration and Nationality Act.   For more information regarding naturalization, please contact United States Citizenship and Immigration Services.
